International campaign in support of Oleg Orlov and Russian political prisoners on December 13th

On December 14th, an appeal will be heard at the Moscow City Court on the case of the co-chairman of the Memorial Human Rights Center. The prosecution has requested a three-year imprisonment for him under the article regarding the repeated "discrediting of the army."

On the same day, President Putin will hold a direct line, during which he traditionally answers approved and selected questions. However, he will remain silent about hundreds of political prisoners, thousands persecuted for their anti-war stance, the suppression of freedom of speech, and the violation of the rights of millions of Russians.

We are certain that the date was not chosen randomly. On that day, the media’s attention will be focused on the broadcast. We want Oleg Orlov's voice to be heard.

Oleg Orlov continues to speak out and defend our rights and the rights of political prisoners while staying in Russia. For this, he is going to be deprived of his freedom.

On the eve of the hearing — December 13th — actions in support of Oleg Orlov and all political prisoners in Russia will take place in several cities around the world.

We do not advise you to participate in campaigns in Russia.
